homes allow people to live in a casual atmosphere that reflects their interests
and personalities. A canoe suspended from the ceiling and a naturally shed antler
chandelier in the great room reinforce the lodge feeling that these clients were
looking for. Acid stained concrete floors covered by custom Tibetan carpets are
rich backdrops for cozy chenille covered upholstery. Warm rich colors are used
to create an atmosphere of calmness and tranquility, a perfect escape for the
weekend. See more photos of Lake Chelan

Creating
this display for the Seattle Interiors Show allowed me to step into a fantasy,
making the perfect "Coastal Retreat", complete with a zen garden. The
use of cool, calming colors and interesting textures provided the perfect backdrop
for the beautiful Asian pieces used throughout the space. The Budji opium bed
is a haven to escape to, a place to relax. The beautiful garden features a pair
of antique Chinese doors and a water feature provides a soothing sound. The powder
room area Antique Chinese cabinet is the perfect base for the art glass sink.
Smooth pebbles in the limestone floor reinforce the cool aqua colorscheme, repeating
the stones in the zen garden.

| Situated
on a beautiful pastoral property overlooking the Sammamish Valley, this 10,000
square foot home provides this family with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.
Rich warm straw colors seem to connect with the out of doors and contrast beautifully
with the deep merbau floors. Upholstery is comfortable and inviting, wood casegoods
are distressed and interesting art and artifacts keep the eye busy, discovering
something new around every corner. This home was featured on the second cover
of Seattle Homes & Lifestyles magazine. See more photos from Seattle Homes & Lifestyles Magazine
![]() | Bridle Trails Ranch Remodel |
This
ranch remodel transformed this property from outdated uninspired architecture
to dramatic and bold. The use of sandstone and swooping the ceiling in the rear
gave this home a completely different feeling. Located adjacent to Bridle Trails
State Park, these clients are now able to keep their horses in the back yard,
just a moments ride to the park. Burnished copper on the fireplace mantle and
wrapping the kitchen bar add an interesting element. Beautiful carpets in rich
colors anchor the dining and great room seating area while sumptuous chenille
sofas provide comfortable seating.
