Creating award winning interiors for over 23 years, I have been an Interior Designer in the Seattle area since 1983 and the owner of my own company since 1993. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design from Anchorage Community College of the University of Alaska in 1981 and soon after moved to the Seattle area to pursue my career in design.

From luxurious urban penthouses to classic family homes, from yachts to coastal, mountain and desert retreats, I have designed interiors for discriminating clients that expect the best. Often traveling to Palm Springs, Scottsdale, Lake Chelan and other resort areas to design vacation homes for clients is an enjoyable part of my business. I am able to create homes that enable my clients to escape from their everyday lives and enjoy their precious leisure time.

Attention to detail and use of quality products and materials, combined with creativity are the key elements in my work. We should take joy in the process of making our environments suit our lifestyles. Whether designing a house from the ground up, working on a renovation, or furnishing a second home, keeping sight of the whole picture is critical to a satisfactory end result.

A long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest, my design style is strongly influenced by the world around me. I love unfussy, clean lines and the sumptuous textures and subtle colors found in nature. Inspired by the Pacific Rim, I enjoy designing eclectic interiors that reflect my client's interests and personality.

My clients appreciate my ability to listen and help them make the best design choices for their lifestyle. I do not believe in the "cookie cutter approach", insisting that each project reflects my client's unique taste and way of living. I am a strong believer that the client should be a key member of the project team. It is their personality, desires and lifestyles that can provide the design inspiration to make a project the best that it can possibly be.

Working with a team of highly qualified and talented professionals, including architects, contractors, craftsmen and artisans, enables me to provide the best possible end result. Long time relationships with these people make my job easier in being able to meet and exceed my clients expectations.
